Cultural programs recommence
Students have been excited to see the return of our cultural programs this year, including Deadly Choices and Good Start.
Deadly Choices this term involves our Year 3 and 4 indigenous students participating in activities to promote healthy lifestyle choices and also celebrate and acknowledge their cultural heritage with some traditional indigenous games thrown in for good fun as well.
Good Start is a government program for Maori and Pacific Islander students and also examines healthy lifestyles through fun activities and experiments. It runs after school on a Wednesday afternoon 2:30-3:30pm and will continue throughout the year. If you are interested in finding out more information about Good Start, please EMAIL MS WAIDE.
