Cross-Country carnival
At this stage, we intend to hold our Cross-Country carnival on the first Wednesday in Week 1. Please read through the Cross-Country information sheet attached. Please note that times are subject to change.
We will run a junior carnival and a senior carnival on the same day and students will compete in year levels and age groups for their house. This is because we will use the event to promote participation AND compete for age champions at the same time. Older students can earn selection for the school team to compete at the district carnival.
We have four houses at school:
- Colman (Red)
- Foxwell (Blue)
- Pedley (Yellow)
- Siganto (Green)
Please contact your child's teacher if you need to know which house your family has been assigned. Wear your house colours on this day. Parents will be able to earn extra house points by wearing house colours too.
Distance:
- Preps: 1 Lap of short course
- Year 1: 1 Lap of short course
- Year 2: 1 Lap of long course
- Year 3: 1 Lap of long course
Regional AFL Carnival
We had Noah and Remmy attend the Regional AFL carnival for the Broadwater District.
Remmy has only started playing AFL this year, so this was a huge achievement for her. Although she didn't make the South Coast side, she learned heaps and I'm sure she'll improve before next year's carnival. Well done, Rem!

Noah, who is also relatively new to AFL, had an awesome carnival and was selected in the South Coast team. Nice reward for all his hard work with his sport this year.
