Solid Pathways Awards

Solid Pathways is an online program STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program for indigenous senior students to help develop their creativity and problem solving skills with authentic, real world challenges.

Congratulations to Aziah, Makenzie, Imogen, Leo, Aliyah and Alycia who were presented with awards for their work in the program last term.

Persuading mum and dad

This week 3/4WH wrote persuasive letters home to convince parents to make or get their favourite dinner. As you can see from some of the pictures it worked. Each day students would run into the classroom to tell us that their letter had worked. It was a great way to show students how persuasive writing can be used in the real world and help them to find the passion in their writing. Thank you to all the parents who got involved in the lesson.

Prep O scientists

Prep O are learning about living things in Science, so they have planted seeds and are going to watch them grow.
