Congratulations to Cruz who has been selected in the Under 12 Broadwater District Tennis team.  What makes this even more amazing is that he is only 10 this year.  This is a great achievement Cruz!

Rugby Union

Four students from Coomera Rivers - Si'u, Jett, Noah and Colten - have been selected for the second round of the Rugby Union trials. Good luck next week boys!

Soccer

Heidi and Scarlett played well at the South Coast trials this week but unfortunately weren’t selected to move through to the next round.  That's the thing about sport, playing for fun, fitness and friendship beats competition every time.  Great work girls.  

Cross-country carnival

Despite the sun, it was a muddy track. But that didn't stop our athletes giving it their all in their District Cross-Country race. We had some of our athletes make it through to the Regional Carnival on June 1. They include Mylah, Lana, Leyla, Remmy and Amity.

Thank you to the PE team (& Ms McLean) for their continued support for our students on the sporting field and to Mr Burrows for leading the team at the carnival.  Thank you also to the mums and dads who were able to come along to cheer on our young athletes.
