Athletics trials

On Tuesday, Coomera Rivers held its athletics carnival where selected students compete in Track and Field events throughout the day. This also allows us to select our District Athletics team, that will head to compete against other students at Griffith University in early August.

Each student did their best and was a pleasure to see a high level of competition throughout the day. We had some records broken and presented our Age Champions with their medallions after their efforts.

Thanks to all of the students and staff who supported the PE team throughout the day.

Record Breakers:

• 10 Year girls, 800m: Maya
• 11 Year girls, 800m: Remmy
• 12 Year girls, 800m: Amity
• 10 Year girls, 200m: Maya
• 11 Year girls, 200m: Remmy
• 10 Year boys, High Jump: Ethan
• 10 Year girls, Long Jump: Mylah

• 2010: Remmy and Ihaka
• 2009: Raff, CJ & Ataahua
