Players excel with competition premiership

Brodie, Beau, Scarlett, Jason and Wil all play for Pimpama Panthers Soccer team.  They recently won the premiership by winning Under 12 grand final with a score of 2-0.  Awesome work!

Exciting players of the future

Congratulations to Scarlet and Shay on their performances at the Keebra Sports Academy day last week.  They both won Best Athletes at the event as well.  Terrific work girls.  Click here to see Scarlet on the Channel 9 Gold Coast news.

Game - Set - Match

Well done to Cruz on his selection in the Regional Tennis Squad.  What makes his achievement even more impressive is that he is only 10 years old in a squad of 12 year old players.  We are all very proud.

Table Tennis competition success

Over 100 students in Years 4-6 have recently participated in a school table tennis competition using the 14 Table Tennis tables that were purchased using Sporting Schools funding including additional tables purchased by our Student Council.

Our students played for fun, fitness and friendship and showed great resilience, persistence and sportsmanship as they played, won and lost. We certainly have many confident and skilled table tennis stars!

The winners were as follows:

Year 4 Girls Champion - Amy (played Sofia)
Year 4 Boys Champion - Kingston (played Cooper)
Year 5 Girls Champion - Mariyae (played Maya)
Year 5 Boys Champion - Tumoana (played Bodhi)
Year 6 Girls Champion - Olivia
Year 6 Boys Champion - Zac (played Chris)
Overall School Champion - Amy (played Zac)

Many of our best table tennis players will participate in the upcoming Queensland School Table Tennis Regional Event, being held on Friday 12 November. We wish them all the very best and look forward to hearing how they go.
