After our LEGO supply was replenished at the start of the week 8, our children have been extremely interested in building and constructing all sorts of masterpieces. With exciting new colours and sized pieces, the children's imaginations have run wild with ideas of things to build. Along with the new LEGO came an instruction booklet with lot's of designs to be made. On Friday morning, the children flicked through the booklet and chose a few items they wanted to attempt to build. A small group of girls worked together to build and old school telephone, one sorting through the box to find all the required pieces, and the other reading through the instructions. The girls demonstrated great communication skills, describing the shapes and colours required to complete their build, and checking to make sure the pieces have been applied properly. 

We have seen some excellent creations and proud children over the last week, and we look forward to seeing what our OSHC children come up with in future!
