OSHC News - Father's Day
On Wednesday and Thursday this week, in preparation for Father's Day, some children chose to design their own key rings to give as a gift.
Using shrink paper, the children drew their designs, and put lovely messages for their Dad. Once they were satisfied with their design, it was time to shrink them down and see the final result.
This involved baking them in the oven, as the heat causes the paper to shrink down to about 50% of its original size! After they had cooled, we attached a split ring and some string, and they were ready to be taken home.
Each child pleased with their creation, and proud of their thoughtful gifts.
