A sensational day was had recently when the Coomera Rivers chess club took on rivals from local schools at the Cluster Schools Chess Competition.  Our club has boys and girls of all ages and abilities learning about the game - piece moves and strategy - and these tournaments are a great place to show their learning.

Thank you to Mrs Hardwick, Ms Nic and Gardiner Chess for a great day.  Special congratulations to Stella, Ashtiva and Keagan on winning trophies on the day and to Alex who earned a special mention from the main arbiter.
