OSHC News - National Recycling Week
Nation Recycling Week in Australia runs from the 8th-14th of November, and aims to encourage recycling and reusing items to minimise waste and material resources responsibly.
At OSHC, we know how important it is to educate our children about sustainable practices and the importance of recycling.
Our arts and craft program was themed around recycling week, providing our children with the opportunity to up-cycle and repurpose common house hold items in many different ways! Our children are very clever, and came up with some impressive creations.
During these activities, we discussed the importance of taking care of our environment, and ways that we can help reduce our waste.
