Celebration of learning
This term in Science, the Year 4 students have been required to identify what materials are best suited when designing an effective canoe. We’ve read stories of how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People crafted their canoes, been inspired by stories of bravery in floods, and used our creative note taking skills in ‘sketch noting’.
This week we had a blast investigating what properties belong to different materials. We collaborated to discover which materials were flexible, transparent, absorbent, strong, and buoyant.
