Dear mums, dads and carers,

This week we were fortunate enough to have Dr Justin Coulson come to the school to deliver a number of presentations. You may know Dr Justin Coulson from the recent TV show Parental Guidance. He is one of Australia’s most trusted parenting, relationships and wellbeing experts and has written 9 books about raising children. The school, with the much-valued investment of the P&C, engaged Dr Coulson to share his expertise on a number of topics. With our year 5 and 6 students he ran a workshop on perservence and striving to achieve your goals, and our teaching staff met with him for an indepth discussion on emotional intelligence. On Monday evening parents and community members were invited to a free event where Dr Coulson discussed ways of parenting and gave tips and ideas on different approaches to help address issues in the home. We hope those who attended found Dr Coulson's presentation thought provoking and and informative.
