Celebration of Learning
Our fantastic math lessons for this term have concluded. In 3H and 3A, we engaged our students in a series of dynamic activities aimed at reinforcing the concepts covered this semester. The trash can relay, in which students raced to solve questions and then tried to accurately toss paper into the bin for points, was met with tremendous enthusiasm.
Another highlight was the forest-themed challenge, where teamwork and critical thinking skills were put to the test. Additionally, traditional dice and counter board games were a hit, providing a nostalgic touch to our curriculum. To everyone's surprise and delight, the classroom transformed into a lively snowball fight arena, using pieces of paper. This unexpected activity injected a burst of energy and excitement into the learning environment. Throughout these activities, students revisited topics taught up to nine weeks ago, including time to the minute 3D shapes, reading a map, number pattern solving, and recognition. It was evident that they not only retained this knowledge but applied it with remarkable skill.
