Principal's news
Dear mums, dads, carers and colleagues
The 2023 school year has closed and I hope that you have enjoyed the successes and opportunities that the school has been able to provide for you this year. Thank you to the school staff for all of the extra contributions they make each day to make our school a better place. They do these things for the school, not because of what they receive in return but because of who they are. There is no expectation for these extra commitments nor is there any financial gain. They do it to show the community that the kids matter.
Swimming carnivals
Two days, lots of races and loads of smiles. Thank you to the PE team for organising the fun day carnivals and to our staff for keeping everyone safe.

A young environmentalist
Congratulations to our Waste Free Lunch winner, Zoran from 1K who recieved a bento box lunch box and a environmentally friendly drink bottle to have waste free lunches every day. Get ready for
2024 new bell times
Our bell times are changing next year - just slightly. The new bell times will be:
Time | Signals |
8:20am | Before school supervision ends |
8:30am | Morning session instruction begins |
10:15am | Morning tea starts |
10:55am | Middle session instruction begins |
1:00pm | Lunch break starts |
1:30pm | Afternoon session instruction begins |
2:30pm | Home bell |
Volunteers: because morning tea starts a little earlier next year we will need parent help. We will desperately need around 3-6 volunteers in the Cafe to get our student meals ready. Please help if you are able.
2024 Prep classes
Every year we create our prep classes from information sought from families and kindergartens, and do our best to create balanced groupings of students that work well together. Sometimes we get the balance spot on, and other times we need to make some adjustments. Prior to school commencing in 2024 you will receive your child's class name and teacher. We will however be looking at the mix of each class closely over the first two weeks and will make changes if we think they are in students' best interests. Each prep teacher will have an opportunity over the first two weeks to meet and interact with every student across the cohort to help us inform this process. If we decide that a change of classroom will benefit your child, we will inform you of this early in the term and aim to minimise any disruption to their learning.
2024 classes
You will receive an email from your child's 2024 teacher on Wednesday 17 January (by 5:00pm), welcoming you to the class. This email is important as it will contain details on teacher's name, class name, and room number. You will need this information on Friday's book drop or Monday for the start of school.
2024 book lists
Please use the lists below to organise 2024 year's stationery supplies. Children will need this stationery on their first day of school.
There is no preferred or recommended supplier, so shop around to find the best price Vs convenience for your needs.
Religious instruction: If your child is participating in Religious Instruction this year, you will need to arrange their student work books. These workbooks are always very hard to source, so to make things easier, our P&C is organising the ordering for families. You can order your work books through School24
