On Tuesday the 14th of October, our Environmental Leaders attended the annual Gold Coast City Councils Tangalooma Eco-Marines Breakfast. At this event, we joined all the other representatives from the EcoMarine Gold Coast schools and celebrated our achievements for the year. Donna Gates, Deputy Mayor, also attended and gave a keynote speech about all the important work that the Eco-Marines do and the latest Gold Coast environmental initiatives currently in progress. The students also engaged in a quiz about Fossil Fuels and Bailey won a prize! Not only did they receive a yummy buffet breakfast, but they were also gifted some seeds to grow at home or school. We’ve had a wonderful year partnering with the Tangalooma Eco-Marines and look forward to 2025, continuing the amazing work our students have begun.
