We had a spooky week for our Performing Arts students!

On Monday’s Junior Assembly, our Drama Club presented a short play called ‘People Stories’. The plot followed a group of monsters on a camping trip telling scary stories about people; a funny ode to humans telling scary ghost stories when out in the wilderness. The cast have only been rehearsing for a couple of weeks and are a mixture of handpicked zingy, creative kids from Years 3-6. They are Carter, Ellie, Bailey, Tia, Imogen, Muhammed, Thilini, Courtney and Jaeda. They will continue to rehearse and present the play again at our end-of-year Time to Shine concert.

The choir also presented a casual pop-up concert out on the astro-turf on the morning of Halloween. Each singer dressed in some spooky accessories.  These amazing students sang using their ‘tall vowels’ to sing the song Have you seen the Ghost of John’. It’s a cannon song which focus on students singing in different groups at different times.
