iPad Training for Families
There are two ways parents can manage how their children use their iPad at home. Parents can activate guided access (9) to control what the iPad is being used for including how to restrict your child's use of specific apps. Alternatively, you can set limits on which apps are used by your child and how long for using the features of Screen Time (11).
Be sure that when using either of these on your child's device and you enter a passcode on the device, record the passcode somewhere you will be able to find it if you forget. Forgetting or entering a passcode incorrectly multiple times will disable the iPad. Restoring the iPad as a new device is the only solution which may also require a visit your local Apple Store.
