Cyber-Safety Competition for DigiDesign
In Digidesign, students learned about cyber-safety including all aspects students should endeavour to employ to stay safe in the digital age whether they are using their phones, iPads, computers, or even gaming with each other online. They looked at how to keep their personal details safe, what material it’s actually safe to share online, who has ownership of their images, who has access to their details, what to do when something doesn’t seem right when online, like unusual emails or text messages, and who to talk to when feeling they’re uncomfortable.
Year 6 students were encouraged to enter a poster competition to promote online safety throughout the school. Their posters could target a specific audience whether junior or senior, or a general audience.
This competition has run in the past and some of the posters can still be seen around the school. Most of the entries from this year will shortly be displayed too. Take the time to stop and learn some great advice from our students.
An overall winner was chosen from each class. The winners were awarded with a certificate and an iPad stylus pencil, their poster can be seen below.
Winners:
6A Alannah Del Re
