Principal's News
Dear mums, dads, carers and colleagues
Things are always busy at school and this week was no different. And next week is cranking up with inter-school sport, Eisteddfod and Wakakirri headlining the week. Please read below for more information - especially to expectations around representing our school at sport.
Purple day
We acknowledged Bullying No Way day today with a free dress day. The theme was purple and it was lovely to see the kindness and respect shown by students towards others today.

We are always grateful for kindness and respect
The school staff work very hard and commit to many hours each week to help our children and community. While none of the school team is seeking recognition, we are very grateful to those adults who always show respect and kindness. Your children appreciate it too.
Superb writing in Prep S
I spent some time with some of our Prep authors today and was impressed at their the standard and skill shown in their writing. In just 25 weeks of school they are writing some fantastic persuasive pieces. Poor Goldilocks was not at all popular for breaking that chair and eating some porridge!
Some holidays are coming our way
Please note the coming dates on your calendars.
- Friday 29 August is Show holiday on the Gold Coast
- Friday 5 September is a Student Free Day at school
Kind regards
Vic
