Principal's News
Dear mums, dads, carers and colleagues
Our Performing Arts department has been kept very busy this week, representing our school brilliantly well. Eisteddfod and 2025 Wakakirri performances were just amazing. I am just so proud of our talented performers and the staff team who prepared them. Our feedback was very impressive but for me, it is always the smiles, energy and excitement from the students, staff and families that makes these events so successful.
P&C meeting in Week 9
We always have a full program to report and discuss at our P&C meetings. On the agenda for discussion in Week 9 will be:
- 2026 Student Resource Scheme
- 2026 Learn to swim program changes
- The Resilience Project
- And more
The meeting will be via Teams. Please make sure that you update your Teams account so that you can access the meeting. Contact the P&C if you would like to listen in and have a say.
Wet weather strikes again
The wet weather this year has really been a challenge for us. It has affected nearly every event and activity that we have tried to run. Some events - and even school itself - have been cancelled while others have been modified due to the impact on our outdoor facilities. Inter-school sport was cancelled again this week due to the most recent rain event. Our school measured over 100mm of rain in the guage across the mid-week. It will take a few days of sunshine for things to dry out again.
We will continue to plan for our school events and keep our fingers crossed.
Have a lovely weekend
