3P Tag

Congratulations to all of Rivers students who competed in the 3P Tag Junior tournament last weekend. Looked like an awesome tournament, with games of footy, sprint races and the 1v1 tournaments.  Well done Marley who was named MVP for his division.  Flynn and Marley were also named in the All Stars teams.

Bruce Fox Cup

Congratulations to our two rugby league teams who participated in the Bruce Fox Cup on Tuesday at Helensvale Hornets Rugby League club. It was a very tough competition and we were grateful to have been invited to attend. Well done to our Junior team who reached the Grand Final, but were outplayed by Biggera Waters. Thank you to the parents and supported us at the event.

Inter-school Sport

Thank you to all the students, staff and spectators who supported our Inter-school Sport season for Term 3. From all reports, everyone enjoyed their time and played for Fun, Friendship and Fitness.

Well done to Coomera Rivers 3 who took out OzTag Division 1 Grand Final, winning in drop-off against Gainsborough SS. Another shout to our Division 2 Soccer team who also brought home the shield!

Coomera Cup

Good luck to our Coomera Cup students who will host Coomera Springs this Friday in the Coomera Cup. We will play against them in Touch, Basketball, Netball and Soccer, with Rugby League scheduled for early Term 4.
