On Friday, Gardiner Chess came to Coomera Rivers as we hosted the Cluster Chess tournament in our hall.  Pimpama, Coomera Springs and Highland Reserve State Schools all came along and played some quality chess throughout the day, which comprised of 7 rounds of matches.  It was great to see the concentration, etiquette and and sportsmanship showed by all who participated.

Coomera Rivers were lucky enough to have winners in all 3 categories.

• Junior - Taylor from Prep M (only started playing chess in Term 2)
• Intermediate - Oliver from 2H
• Senior - Keagan from 4K
