Thank you to the P&C executive who have given their weekend to attend the annual conference in Brisbane.  I was privileged to be able to spend the day alongside them and hundreds of other dedicated executive volunteers who were encouraged to consider the needs of their communities through a different and innovative lens.  Our very own P&C President, Corina Profke, was asked to perform the duties of Returning Officer for the AGM and she also addressed to members attending.  

The speakers who presented today included:

• Tania Plibersek (Shadow Minister for Education and Training)
• Madonna King (Award-winning journalist,  ABC radio presenter, author and commentator)
• Professor Matt Sanders (Founder - Triple P Positive Parenting Program)

Other sesions today included:

• Leading OSHC businesses
• Managing emerging cyber risks
• Accessing grants

As you can see, the work of P&C Associations is far from fundraising.  You may not realise this but all members of our P&C executive are volunteers.
