This week, our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students had a meeting with Dr Dee and Ricardo from the Regional Indigenous Support Team. They shared with us the purpose of a Yarning Circle and the process and protocols to follow to design one for our school.  The session ended with the students jointly constructing an invitation for Local Elder, Uncle Brian, to visit our school and consult with the students and staff.  We look forward to his reply, and welcoming him to Coomera Rivers.
