This year, two Coomera Rivers students, Chloe and Armani, participated in the Chinese writing contest. There were 208 entries from 49 schools and we were delighted with the entries from the girls. Congratulations to Chloe on earning an encouragement award which is equivalent to a highly commended.

Students needed to complete two tasks. In both tasks they were assessed on their accuracy, neatness and appropriateness of the characters. Task A required writers to copy characters correctly and neatly. The second task, Task B, was a reconstruction of a sentence using Chinese characters.
