Students from Year 1 met all manner of creatures this week on their trip to Jacobs Well Environmental Centre. Agro the snake and Lucky the turtle were crowd favourites, and the students all enjoyed sorting different critters- crabs, tadpoles and fish to name just a few – based on their external features.

The day was both educational and a whole lot of fun as students waded into ponds and trekked through muddy mangrove flats as part of their investigations.
