In the Nerang Forest

Last Saturday, our Coomera Rivers Crusaders met just before 6:00am at bottom of the Nerang Forest for our 2nd training session. Our goal was to work on our strength, endurance and to encourage our partners to keep pushing. Everyone gave it their best effort and really pushed themselves.

Some of our students ran just under 10km in 1.5 hours - very impressive considering the steep, rocky and slippery terrain.  Our teachers were very impressed with how well our students performed - their effort, determination and teamwork. Just like Mt Warning, there were slips and falls, but they got straight back up and kept going. The attitude we want to see!
