As restrictions have eased in Queensland, some sports with still conduct a district trial.

Broadwater Cricket - Boys

• Boys born in 2009 or 2008 are encouraged to see Mr Burrows or Mr Raffin regarding an upcoming district trial.

Broadwater Softball - Girls

• Any girls in the senior school who play softball and are interested in trialling for the district team need to see Mr Burrows and Mr Raffin this week.

Coomera Rivers Touch Comp - Year 3 - 6

We have started an intra-school touch footy competition, and we're really happy to see that almost every class has entered a team or two in the competition.  Students play against other teams from their cohort in a game of touch. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of touch footy, play with (and against) your mates, and we also teach some of our senior students to referee the games.  It seems to be very successful after its first week.  Well done to all involved and thank you to Noah(5M), Hannah (6D) and Zharnae (6W) for refereeing some games this week.

Special mention also to Mr Cope, Mr Bryant, Mrs Gillard and Mrs Rafton for supporting their teams on the oval.
