OSHC news
Expressing our gratitude and respect to our indigenous culture was our focus at OSHC this week! Our appreciation and admiration for the traditional custodians of our land runs deep within our children at OSHC. Miss Rae did an amazing job putting together our craft activities, which included cardboard boomerang dot painting, dot painting of the traditional aboriginal animals, using very long cardboard tubes to decorate and transform them into didgeridoos, and getting very messy with using our hands to imprint a giant snake! All of our children thoroughly enjoyed being able to use their hands and fingers rather than using a paintbrush to create their indigenous masterpieces.
OSHC will always continue to pay respect and recognise Australia’s traditional owners. We are excited to learn more about our indigenous culture.
