Esports returns

The Coomera Rivers Esports Team returned this week to train for The Fuse Cup. The game for Term 3 is Rocket League. Rocket League is a high-powered hybrid of arcade-style soccer and vehicular mayhem with easy-to-understand controls and fluid, physics-driven competition. The team will work together in pairs to battle it out in the Rocket League stadium for a chance in the Queensland state finals.
The Federation of United Schools Esports - FUSE Cup is a nationwide network of schools connected in providing young students with an opportunity to participate in a safe, supportive and structured national Esports competition while developing positive gaming behaviours and digital wellbeing.
It was great to see the smiles on their faces as they came together again. Many of the team are new to this game and it was great to hear them problem solving and helping each other out during the session, each demonstrating the values of The Fuse Cup - Integrity, Strength, Inclusion and Teamwork.
