The purpose of this student centred project, was to enable students to develop empathy, as a result of the Corona Virus pandemic. Through our discussions with the students, we quickly realised our experience in Australia was vastly different to other countries around the world. In order to gain a better understanding of those perspectives, we reached out to educators around the world via social media. The student led questionnaire was designed to gain an insight into how the corona virus had impacted on other peoples’ daily lives and learning, as well as any unexpected positive outcomes.

19 different countries answered the call. Through this project, you will read about the impact of the pandemic, seeing it through the eyes of students and teachers from all over the world. As a global community, this is the one time in our lifetime, where we have lived a shared experience. 
We hope this project becomes a historical artefact, recording an unprecedented, important moment in our time.
