And in the garden

An awesome example of our Deep Learning Pedagogical Framework has been unfolding around our school. Our old vegetable garden is being relocated into the senior school so the space is more accessible and larger for students. This project has many learning partnership working to bring this learning experience to life.

Mrs Young and Miss Jones have been working with Mr Church from Ventia and our groundsmen, Tony and Alex.  Last week, Mrs Young posed a mathematical challenge to the Year 5 students to see if they could design the space for the new vegetable garden. The winning design will be digitally created by Mrs Hardwick';s husband.  

Next week, the Year 6 students, as part of their Day 10 program, will take the winning design and bring it to life with assistance from staff.
