We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands on which we walk, live and learn, the Bullongin & Kombumerri people. We pay our deepest respects to Elders resting in the Dreamtime and to the Elders of today, who will continue to care, protect and nurture the Country that we gather on to learn and connect. We feel both privileged, and grateful to now be sharing and caring for the country on which we are living and learning.
Events, dates and times may change. Please check the school calendar regularly to keep updated.

ANZAC Day service
We held our annual ANZAC Day service at school yesterday. I find these services to be a most poignant moment on the school calendar and am continually proud of the sombre and respectful manner in which our students and community commemorate the date.
Thank you to Ms Waide and Mrs Ellison for their wonderful preparations and for maintaining the very high standards we expect for this service. Thank you also to our staff team for supporting the students at the service and

Junior Book Fair
A special Junior School Book Fair will be held in the iCentre from the 29April to the 9May. Mums, dads and carers are welcome to visit the Book Fair before school from 7:30am and after school until 3:00pm. The book fair will also be open at various times throughout the day for purchases and students to visit and see the wonderful range of books for sale.
Congratulations Flynn
Congratulations to Flynn on his selection this week into the Under 11 South Coast Rugby League team. A terrific achievement.

The season is changing
I usually refer to ANZAC Day as the point in the year when the season begins to change and the cooler weather is usually close by. Your children will need their winter uniform additions:
- School pullover is worn with the formal blues uniform and
- School tracksuit is worn with the sports uniform.
Please contact me if you would like to request a change to this expectation.
Please order well before the first chilly day as stocks will be limited. Remember to layer up under the uniform on colder days - keeping in mind that all classrooms are air-conditioned and will be lovely and warm.

Feedback on introducing student ID cards
We are exploring the possibility of offering low-cost student ID cards that would allow students to make café purchases over the counter, providing a convenient and secure way for them to buy snacks and meals during the school day.
Before moving forward, we’d love to hear your thoughts!
Would you be interested in purchasing a student ID card for your child if it allowed them to easily make café purchases at school?
Your feedback will help us determine whether this option would be beneficial for our school community. Please take a moment to share your input by completing the poll below.
Thank you for your continued support!
